Spring Break Zoo Trip March 31, 2009

Drew was on Spring Break and I thought it would be nice to take him to the zoo one more time by himself before baby sister comes along. So mom and I took Drew to the zoo for the day!

Checking out the bamboo at the zoo

Drew just wouldn't give us a good smile......like the eyes.....

Drew was really concerned about this baby monkey on the back of the monkey statue.

Nevermind those two Elephants RIGHT THERE, this elephant book is much more interesting!

Cheesy grin in the Helicopter!

Posing with the giraffes

Watching the Garden Grow....

Drew was cleaning up his sandbox, and instead of coming straight inside, this is where I found him.

...hey Drew..... What are you doing?

The boys....Hard at Work...

For an early birthday present, mom and dad brought over the supplies to build us a garden!
Dad, Drew, and Tony worked hard to build us a garden box in the backyard.

the finished product - Great Job Boys!!

Grandma cleaned up the patio and put new sand in Drew's sandbox while the boys were working on the garden. Drew finally had enough helping with the garden and decided to play in his sandbox.

Yardwork

Just a little over a week after our Biggest Snow Ever, here is Drew outside at Grandma and Grandpa's house on a beautiful day in his shorts doing yard work. He was raking the leaves out from under the bushes, putting them in the bucket and dumping them in the dirt. Notice his cute gardening gloves!

Most Snow EVER!

"making tracks"

Drew trying to sweep the sidewalk clean! We DO own a snow shovel (they are hard to come by down here!) but Tony took it to work with him. It was a good thing too, he got stuck trying to pick up one of his employees for work!

We had the most snow that we have ever had since we lived here! We had about 6 inches! Unbelievable! I was afraid that after the last snow that Drew wouldn't like to play in it but I found some mittens and he had a blast! He loved "making tracks," throwing "snow boulders," and making snow angels!
